We are offering all Royal Windsor 2020 triathletes FREE deferral to the 2021 event. We don’t need you to take any action to take this option. After the 12th April our team will transfer all your details across to the event next year. If you don’t want to take part next year you need to choose one of the options below before this time.

During May you will receive an email confirming the transfer to 2021 has been completed.

This will have to be done manually once we have confirmed your entry for 2021 (you will receive an email to let you know the transfer has been completed in May). Log in to your account and follow the instructions to amend your entry. You will have to pay the difference and any refunds will be subject to an admin fee.

If you want to change your distance you will need to action this by the end of August 2020.

That’s great! You will need to let us know by Sunday 12th April 2020 to take this option. 

We will send you a code that can be used with any Human Race event next season. This voucher will be your entry fee minus £10.  Please note that your original booking fee is not refundable / transferable as laid out in our standard terms and conditions. This £10 fee will cover some, but ultimately not all, of the fixed costs incurred in planning the original event as well as admin fees charged to us for this action.

Our calendar for 2021 is still TBC, however, to give you an idea of the events you would be able to use this on, traditionally each year we organise the Dorney Lake Triathlons, Royal Windsor Triathlon and the tri for life Woburn Abbey Triathlon.

To access your account, follow this link or copy and paste it into your browser mydashboard.timeto.com. Once logged in, scroll to find the Royal Windsor Triathlon event and select ‘Transfer Registration’. You will then be required to input the new participants email address. Once you select to transfer your entry to another person, they will receive an email to accept the transfer. The new participant needs to complete the registration process, including payment. This payment will also include any price increases to event entry. Once this has been completed, the original participant will receive the refund, less the £10 fee.

If you are unable to attend Royal Windsor Triathlon 2021 or take up the credit then in light of the extraordinary circumstances, as per our terms and conditions in our contract we will be offering refunds minus a small £5 admin fee. Please note your original booking fee charged by Active is non-refundable, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. The average booking fee cost was around £5 per person, plus the admin fee = an average of £10 per person.

The £5 fee covers some, but ultimately not all of, a fee charged to us to refund, some unrecoverable event costs and staff time.

As this is a manual process we will need to be notified about your refund by Sunday 12th April 2020.

We aim to have everyone’s refunds with them by 10th May.

If you are not able to join us in 2021, and are therefore cancelling your place, you may select to donate your entry fee minus administration cost to our charity partner, Macmillan. Please click here and select the donation option.

If you had taken a charity entry, or had chosen to fundraise for Macmillan, please follow the above guidelines for next steps of your entry. Macmillan will be in touch with more information for their fundraisers who have confirmed they are taking part in 2021 in due course.

Any packages you purchased for Royal Windsor Triathlon, will be rolled over to the new 2021 event. If you want to be refunded, each part of your bundle has a different process, see below for the process for each item.

You can either carry this over to 2021 which will be done automatically or you will receive a full refund for the entirety of your package including merchandise and entry.

AWOL Adventure are third party photography platform. AWOL Adventure will be contacting customers who have purchased a photo bundle directly on next steps.

Sadly, any bookings for services not listed as part of the event are not covered by our refunds policy. You will have to investigate what options are available directly with that service provider.

If you have purchased Registration Protection from Booking Protect during your registration for the Royal Windsor Triathlon you are able to claim back a refund if your circumstances are covered.
